Abstract

Poverty is a social issue that is always relevant to study, because poverty is not simply the absence, deprivation, and economic hardship. The government has made numerous efforts to break the cycle of poverty by implementing social programs. The purpose of this study was to compare satisfaction levels between recipients of Non-Cash Food Assistance and recipients of Rice in Tungkal Harapan Village. The approach used in this study was quantitative analysis using primary data. The sample population in this study was 80 respondents/questionnaires. Data analysis used SPSS version 24 t-test statistics and the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). The results showed that (1) data processing according to respondent characteristics was defined based on gender, age, number of family members, highest education, rice consumption, income, and length of time as an aid recipient; (2) the Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.004 ˂ 0.05 indicating a significant difference in the level of satisfaction of the poor who received recipients of Non-Cash Food Assistance and recipients of Rice assistance, and (3) a comparison of the satisfaction of the poor with direct cash food assistance with a CSI value of 85.59 which has a higher level of satisfaction than the form of rice assistance of 80.99.
