Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Education Quality Management System in madrasahs across Jambi Province through the lens of Islamic management principles. Utilizing a qualitative-descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, documentation, and observation at selected madrasahs representing various levels. The research focuses on key components of quality management planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling while aligning these with core Islamic values such as trust, consultation, and excellence. Findings indicate that while the structural implementation of Education Quality Management System aligns partially with national education standards, the integration of Islamic management values remains inconsistent across institutions. The study highlights the need for capacity building in Islamic leadership, the development of value-based performance indicators, and policy reinforcement that reflects both educational quality and spiritual values. This research contributes to the discourse on harmonizing modern quality management practices with the ethical framework of Islamic education.
