This study examines the impact of Islamic financial literacy on students’ economic behavior, particularly in shaping responsible financial decision-making within the framework of Sharia principles. The research responds to the increasing need for financial awareness among young Muslim generations as financial products and economic activities become more complex. Employing a quantitative survey method, data were collected from 120 students across three Islamic higher education institutions in Tanjung Jabung Timur. A structured questionnaire was used to measure students’ Islamic financial literacy, saving behavior, spending patterns, and awareness of halal financial practices. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and regression techniques. The results show that Islamic financial literacy has a positive and significant influence on students’ economic behavior, especially in promoting disciplined saving, responsible spending, and halal-conscious financial choices. The study concludes that strengthening Islamic financial literacy is essential for shaping ethical economic behavior among students and supporting the development of Sharia-based economic systems.
